Training & Safety:

B.E.M take training seriously. It's a very important issue and to this end we employ the services of a safety consultant on a part time basis.
We are therefore subject to occasional safety checks, of our own volition. These can bring to our attention, any need for more focus in a given area if required.

Our staff have all undergone regular safety training and are all aware of the need to protect both our clients and ourselves, but also the general public and to these ends, as well as training, we are also fully insured.

We also have two apprentices, in their third year of training on the C.I.T.B scheme.

We also have Stef, here, also at work:

He works alongside Mark, our Plumber/Gas fitter.

Both Craig and Stef are taking their final exams in the summer of 2005.
They have regular consultations with their assessors, as can be seen here:

They both spend one day a week at a local technical college, honing their skills in their chosen trades and for the remainder of a working week they spend time with their respective trades, making use of and putting into practice, their knowledge.

We hope at B.E.M that they'll become full trades with us and one day, be teaching the new apprentices themselves!
Our apprentices are a part of the reason why we recently won an accreditation from the Government, in the form of the prestigious ‘Investor In People'.

We also are Exor accredited

And are members of the Federation Of Master Builders.
